Acoustic and Electric Guitar Lessons
Guitars are one of the most sought-after musical instruments to learn. The Alabama Music Academy offers in-person classes for both acoustic and electric guitar lessons. Our classes are designed to suit all ages and can be leveraged by music admirers of all skill levels. New learners are trained in beginner’s classes and can progress to advanced levels as their skills improve.
Piano Lessons
Piano lessons have a reputation for being time-consuming and challenging. That is why we take a hands-on approach to help new learners gain confidence and improve their performance. Qualified and experienced instructors conduct each lesson to foster appropriate skills and equip students with intuitive musical knowledge.
Vocals Lessons
Train in different vocal techniques and find your unique singing niche. Our singing lessons are designed to complement the natural pitch of your voice and focus on improving control and modulation. With the help of qualified vocal coaches, students can enhance their singing range and tone and develop their vocal delivery to become confident singers.
Violin Lessons
Whether you are a new learner or picking up the violin after a break, our personalised classes can help you master the instrument. Our lessons cover everything from music theory lessons to practical applications to provide students with holistic skill development. These cover in-depth knowledge of scales, arpeggios, melodies, and correct hand techniques.
Bass Lessons
The Alabama Music Academy offers bass guitar lessons for both new learners and experts. Beginners' lessons include a comprehensive understanding of basic chords, slap and pop techniques, and octave shapes. Advanced classes train students to create signature sounds, learn impromptu music, and train in other complex musical concepts.
Drums Lessons
Technique, note-reading, coordination, and creativity are the foundations of our drum lessons. Open to learners of all ages and skill levels; each class focuses on equipping students with the building blocks for mastering the instrument. Students are encouraged to explore their unique playing styles by utilising the basic concepts of music theory.
Ukulele Lessons
Our ukulele lessons cover a range of topics, including tuning, learning chords, strumming patterns, and playing songs. Once students have mastered these introductory lessons, they progress to advanced levels, where they are taught finger twists and new techniques. Eventually, students are given the opportunity to make their arrangements.
Mandolin Lessons
Mandolin lessons are slightly more complex than other string instruments. Our classes are designed to equip students with basic techniques, melody, rhythm, and teach essential scales and chords. Students with intermediate skills are guided to practice advanced tunes and learn to play classic melodies. Lessons are available for students of all skill levels and ages.
